Authors who have had a manuscript accepted for Scientific Reports after 30th November 2015 will also have been invited to use our Publication Agreements system to submit the necessary licence forms online. This replaces the previous process of emailing or faxing the documents to our Editorial team.
To use the system you will first need to create an account and login details at submit.nature.com. This account is specific to signing publication agreements and is different from other Nature logins you may have, including the one you used to submit your manuscript. We are working to create a single login for all of nature.com and this is the first step towards that goal, but we apologise for the inconvenience caused as we improve the experience.
To create an account complete the fields requested – name, email address and a password – and click on submit. A verification email will be sent to the email address you have provided which will contain a link to activate your new account. The link will expire after 24 hours.
If you have not received this email or if the link has expired, please login again at submit.nature.com and you will be presented with the opportunity to have the verification email resent.
If you already have an account for the Publications Agreement system, but have forgotten your password, click on the link “Need to reset your password” (highlighted in the screenshot below) and then enter your email address when prompted.
You will receive an email with a link which is valid for one hour that will enable you to reset your password.
